The Bears second straight game on the road, brought them down to a night game versus the Salisbury Knights. An opening kickoff return for a touchdown stunned the Bears, but again Berkshire proved their resilience and fight. The Bears caused a fumble and were able to recover when it looked as if the Knights would go up two quick scores. The Bears were ignited by a crafty 50yd run by Regan Haas (‘14). The drive brought Bears deep into Knights territory, but was unfortunately stopped on 4th down.
The second half proved to be the stronger half for Berkshire once again. The Bears were able to move the ball on the ground with Lavante Wiggins (‘14), behind Senior Captain TJ Adams (‘14), Ben Akim (‘14), Kevin Crabtree (‘17), and Brendan Moloy (‘15). The duo of Regan Haas and Peter Dunn (‘15), led the Bears through the air completing passes to Cyrus Rothwell-Ferraris (‘14) and Joe McBride (‘14).
The Bears battled through injuries but again competed for four complete quarters. Berkshire will return home to face The Hopkins Hilltoppers on Saturday (10/12).
