The Berkshire Bears hosted their first home game of the season, under the lights, vs. Salisbury. After a great opening kick-off return by Marquise Carr '13, Jared Shatkin '13 just missed connecting with Michael Allen '13 on a half-back pass that would have certainly shocked the visiting Knights and changed the course of the game. Berkshire put together numerous drives in the first half but could not convert on 3rd down and suffered a few mental errors that halted drives. Meanwhile, Salisbury used big plays to get on the board. The Berkshire defense was stout on many occasions but could defend against the big play. Tyler Behring '13 lead the way for the Bears on defense and was helped by Brendan Moloy '15. Offensively, Regan Haas '14 provided a spark for the Bears but the offensive was unable to muster any points. The Bears return to practice on Monday in preparation for another home game, next Saturday vs. Trinity Pawling.
