Soccer - Girls Varsity vs. Loomis Chaffee

Event Type: Regular

Date: October 9, 2013

Score:Berkshire 0 - Loomis 2

Event Recap:

The Berkshire Bears came out on Wednesday to face the Loomis Chaffee Pelicans for the Bears’ seventh game of the season. The Bears battled hard against the physical Pelicans who controlled much of the play in the Bears’ defensive half. With just seconds to go in the first half, the Pelicans were able to send a simple, back-post shot to land in the back of the Berkshire net.

The Bears came out strong in the second half with winger, Caroline Slyer ‘16 working hard up and down the wing. Berkshire was able to string together a number of terrific passes to work their way up the field. Unfortunately, the Bears were not able to capitalize, and the game ended in a 0-2 loss.

The Bears will be ready to face the Suffield Tigers for Berkshire Parent’s Weekend on Saturday!
