What We're Doing Now: Alum Dan Gulotta '99's Blog from Africa
Posted 10/23/2013 06:14AM

My son Danny Gulotta, Berkshire School class of 1999, graduated from Bowdoin College in 2003 and since then has been an educator.  Along with his Medical Doctor wife Dr. Camille Puronen they have taken their talents and their young son Eric to rural Kenya where Dr. Puronen is the chief medical resident at a small rural hospital, and Danny is teaching at an orphanage.

Eric is loving the animals and he has become a fantastic representative of American good cheer. To read and see the amazing work they are doing, log onto his blog which he writes once per week.  It is heart warming to see the unselfish and giving spirit of this wonderful family.

Click here to read the blog and don't forget to comment - they're a long way from home and would love to hear from you!
