AMSR Mini-Symposium

On Wednesday November 29, students in the Advanced Math/Science Research program hosted eleven student researchers from Belmont Hill, an all-boys preparatory day school located just outside of Boston. Five AMSR students gave short talks describing their work and entertained questions from the audience. After the talks, the students broke out into small groups to learn more about others' work and discuss commonalities between their research projects. Mr. Jared Courtney and Dr. April Burch, respective coordinators of the research programs at Belmont Hill and Berkshire School, agreed that the day was a huge success and a terrific opportunity to foster communication and collaboration between students.
