PRIZE NIGHT AND COMMENCEMENT 2016
We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2016 with you at Berkshire School’s 109th Commencement.
Please register all family members and guests online for Prize Night and Commencement by Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
Prize Night: Thursday, May 26
5:30 p.m. Prize Night Parent Dinner, Benson Commons
7:30 p.m. Prize Night Ceremony, Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center
Following the Prize Night Ceremony, parents and the Berkshire community are invited to enjoy dancing with the New York Players and dessert under the tent on Schappert Field.
Commencement: Friday, May 27
11:00 a.m. Commencement exercises begin, Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center
Parents should arrive by 10:30 a.m., and the ceremony usually takes about an hour and a half. Graduates and their guests are invited to a luncheon under the tent after commencement concludes. As space is limited, we ask that the total number of guests attending the luncheon not exceed eight.
3:00 p.m. Sixth formers and their families depart campus
Highpoint Pictures will be taking photos of sixth formers at Commencement. A picture of each graduate receiving his or her diploma, as well as each prize winner will be taken. In addition, Highpoint photographers will be available after the ceremony for photos of the graduate with families and friends. Parents should expect to receive an email around June 1st with links to a photo gallery where images can be ordered. There will be a designated photography area for family photographers and videographers as well.
For friends and family unable to join the graduates here on campus, both Prize Night and the Commencement ceremony will be streamed live on the School's website. Click here at the event time.
Hotels and inns in the area fill up quickly this time of the year. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible. Click here for a list of local accommodations.
