Argentina: Summer 2013
The Center for Global Initiatives is sponsoring a 12-day trip to Argentina in late June 2013. The group will travel to the capitol, Buenos Aires, and Iguazú , the home of the indigenous Guaraní people and the site of the famed Iguazú Falls , one of the natural wonders of the world. The trip will include tours of culturally significant sites in the city and surrounding countryside, as well as service work with the native Guaraní that will directly impact their efforts in public health and conservation. The trip offers students an important perspective on the rich diversity and socio-political forces that shape this exciting country today.
