After graduating from Colgate University, Brad tried his
hand in the corporate world for two years before shifting to teaching. He began his career as a teacher and
coach at Brunswick School before accepting a job at Berkshire in 2004. As a graduate of The Taft School,
Brad’s knowledge of boarding school is also personal, and he realized that
Berkshire would be the ideal setting in which to raise a family.
As the Director of Financial Aid, Brad plays an extremely
important role in the Admission Office.
Socioeconomic diversity is a crucial element of this community and Brad
nurtures families through this process with great care. Brad also teaches US History, assists
the boys’ varsity hockey team, and serves as the head girls’ soccer coach. He is an advisor and the House Head of
Brad’s wife, Linda, is an art teacher, advisor, and coach,
and the D’Arcos have two children, Mia and Landon. They enjoy spending time at their house in New
Hampshire. Brad is also the
founder of Berkshire’s faculty running group and he is no stranger to any of
the local golf courses.
