Admission

Welcome to Berkshire, a co-educational boarding school for students in grades 9 through 12.  This is an exciting time to be a part of the Berkshire community. Building on consecutive years of double digit growth in applicant numbers, we are currently home to 386 intellectually curious students (27 states, 27 countries) who contribute to our school through good character and talent. Students are enjoying a newly renovated and expanded central academic building, Berkshire Hall, a new 117,500 square-foot multi-purpose athletic facility, the Jackman L. Stewart Athletic Center and the 48,000 square-foot Bellas/Dixon Math and Science Center that opened in September 2012. These premiere facilities support an array of exceptional academic and extracurricular opportunities. While these new improvements provide us with standout facilities as we enter our second century, it is the people, including the vibrant student body and richly experienced faculty, that are Berkshire’s critical ingredients. You can read more about our community in a recent AdmissionsQuest blog.
