Kendall Coyne '11, a freshman phenom on the Northeastern team, was named D-1 Rookie of the Year by U.S. College Hockey Organization (USCHO) recently, finishing the season with 26 goals and 45 points. She is also a member of Team USA.

U.S. National Women's Hockey teammates Kacey Bellamy '05 and Kendall Coyne '11 continue to dominate at the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships, defeating Finland 11-0. The team is gunning for their fifth gold medal win on route to Sochi, Russia in 2014.

Kevin Sullivan '10 and Trevor Mingoia '11 are members of the Union College Hockey team that will take on Ferris State in the semifinals of the NCAA championship tournament. "We just have to treat it like any other game," said Sullivan.

Berkshire mourns the loss of Trustee Emeritus Edward Mandell "Del" de Windt '39. Son of a legendary Berkshire headmaster and president of his class, de Windt went on to become Chairman and Chief Executive at Eaton Corporation, and served on Berkshire's Board for many years.
