Advanced Economics

Advanced Economics blends a traditional, theory-based approach to economics with the practical applications of business management and planning. In addition to discussing and debating micro- and macro-economic concepts, students will form groups to devise and write a business plan for a product or service of their own choosing. Groups will be competing for the Sabin Entrepreneurial Prize, to be awarded on April 26th, 2012. Business plans will be evaluated by a team of judges on the basis of their ingenuity, soundness, and sustainability.
