The Berkshire School Multivariable Calculus class finished off the year by constructing a solar panel that was able to power an electric Go-Kart.  Besides being a lot of fun, the students also learned about how photovoltaic cells work and how to convert direct current to alternating current.  Future plans include attaching a solar panel onto the Go-Kart so that it can charge while it is running.
