Who We Are: Student Leaders

Forty-one students returned to Berkshire a week early to undergo 3.5 days of leadership training which culminates with leading two days of New Student Orientation over the weekend. As part of their leadership training, the group participates in interactive and theoretical workshops designed help explore what they bring to the community as individuals and as a collective leadership unit. They explore individual leadership styles and how to leverage those different styles to get optimal results.

In addition, they explore potential challenges and limitations that might exist as individuals and a group, followed by a discussion of strategies and resources for overcoming some of those challenges and limitations. Finally, they have a chance to meet with their adult program directors to plan the year ahead.

Most importantly, the student leaders will come away with a plan to lead the way in creating an inclusive, safe, healthy, fun, and enjoyable environment for every Berkshire student.

Student groups include:

Prefects
Green Key Leaders
Green and Gray Captains
1907 Society Leaders
Student Activities Leaders
Community Service/Philanthropy Leaders
