Squash - Girls Varsity
Girls' squash has a strong tradition at Berkshire School, and a number of recent graduates have gone on to success at the college level. Coach Kohlhepp works hard to support team members with individual training and tournaments and assists throughout the college application process. A demanding interscholastic schedule features perennial rivals like Suffield, Westminster, Millbrook, Hotchkiss and Canterbury. The Bears also participate in High School Nationals, with our season culminating at the NEISA championships. Berkshire placed 13th at New Englands in 2015.
Coach A.J. Kohlhepp, an English teacher and Director of Berkshire's Writing Center, is a US Squash-certified coach who first picked up the sport at Trinity College. He has been active with the Berkshire squash program since 2001, coaching both boys and girls varsity teams during that time. "Dr. K" is also a regular contributor to the "What's on My Mind" section of Daily Squash Report.
