Basketball - Girls Varsity

Coming off the 2015-2016 season in which the Bears went 22-4 and made it to the championship game of the New England Prep School Girls Basketball Class B Tournament, this year’s team is looking to continue to build on the program’s recent success. This year's team returns nine players from last year and adds four new players.

Our program prides itself on work ethic, accountability, and unselfishness. We focus on improving individual skills while also teaching team concepts. The girls in our program love to play the game of basketball, and while they are asked to work hard and be at their best every day, they understand that basketball is a game, and it is meant to be fun. We welcome all levels of skill and experience to our program, and we just ask our players to “keep working” in all of their endeavors on and off the court.

We are excited for our first season in the brand new Soffer Athletic Center, a state-of-the-art facility which features two regulation size basketball courts, a team strength and conditioning room, and new and improved home and guest locker rooms.
